Game is about training your memory by following right sequence of numbers/letters/mixed

Game has 4 game levels:
Easy – only numbers (Sequence of numbers is show on the screen).
Medium – mixed numbers with number in words.
Hard, Extreme – letters. (Already exist German, English, Russian, Spanish, French alphabets)

Each of levels can be easy configured in game code.

This brand-new component is a real bargain. It is a 2-in-1. Besides a splendid Flash front-end which allows you to play online any kind of crossword puzzles there is a multi-threaded Java application included to actually compile and generate crossword puzzles!

The Flash Application

The Flash application is the front-end or let’s say “client” which allows you to play within your Internet browser any kind of crossword puzzles. It supports American style puzzles (like you find them in the New York Times e.g.), Japanese style, British style, free style puzzles of all sizes etc.

Mostly all left-to-right languages are supported (UTF-8).

Like in the Devarai Word Search Puzzle game there is a regular and an exam mode for playing integrated. The exam mode prohibits the player from using the auto-solve function.

Time is measured and you can set a time limit to restrict the time of play.

There is an auto-solve function incorporated to auto-solve letters, words or the whole puzzle at once if you need help playing the game.

After finishing the game you will see a screen showing you your statistics including a score.

Everything is nicely animated and beyond that there is a PHP back-end application included which allows the player to submit his/her results to a MySQL database for evaluation purposes. Submitted is email address, date of play, score, time of play and number of letters solved without the computer’s help.

A crossword puzzle is set up through an easily to understand well documented XML file. You can create one by hand or you can use the included crossword puzzle compiler to generate one…

The Java Crossword Puzzle Compiler

Creating crossword puzzles is one of the most difficult problems in regard to computation theory. There is a multi-threaded JAVA application included in this component that searches for a good crossword puzzle for you using all your computer’s power. All you have to provide is a dictionary XML file with some phrases/words and their corresponding clues. There is an example dictionary file included for the English audience with some hundred words with clues which let you create puzzles right from the start. The version 1.0 of this advanced application specializes in free style puzzles like you can see one in the demo. We are planning to develop it further until we can reproduce the highly symmetrical and dense puzzles like you find them in newspapers like the New York Times. However the results generated are very good already and serve most purposes.

All source code (including the Java app) is included. Everything is extensively documented. For any further questions or customizations we are at your disposal. Please just send us a message through our profile page.

The Archer Customizable XML Flash Game

In this game, a little archer character shoots arrows up at bubbles floating in the sky which contain objects (these objects could be your products or images!). You can change the splash screen text in the XML as well as many gameplay features like how many bubbles there are, how fast they move, the time bonus you get from a clock bubble, how fast the time runs out and how the speed at which the game becomes more difficult! You can also place any image you want inside the bubbles and as many different ones as you want, all via the XML !

AS3 only. Opens with Flash CS3 and above only.

Step by step instructions are included and code is commented. Also, an html file is included to demonstrate SWF embedding.

This game is created to help you to train your memory by remembering cards and giving correct answers, when the card is hidden.

Game consists of 4 levels:

Easy – repeated cards and answers (Sequence of cards in the answer pool are the same as hiden).

Medium – random answers (Sequence of cards in the answer pool are randomly chosen).

Hard, Extreme – 8 cards instead of 4, random answers.

Each level can easily be configured in the game code.

Also you can control such parameters as necessary points to get to the next level, points added on a current level, points to return back on a previous level, number of cards in game, time, time per hiding/showing cards and many other!

Hey and welcome to my Sudoku Solver!

This file is everything you’ll ever need if you wish to solve a Sudoku puzzle! The file functions quite easily: simply fill in a Sudoku start state, and then press the Solve button to have the algorithm solve it.

When it is done (as far as it can) it will probably present you with a fully filled Sudoku. It might, however tell you it can’t solve it purely by logics. This usually means the start state you gave it didn’t provide enough information, and there were multiple solutions possible – the solver (both man and machine) would have to guess a number instead of being able to derive it forms logics. Then, you will be asked if you want to use a search algorithm to still obtain an answer.

The search algorithm is quite a nice piece of AI, using various heuristics to keep the search duration to a minimum. It often finds a valid solution within seconds, to even the most difficult sudoku’s!

Included in the preview are a couple example Sudoku’s, so you can see the algorithms in action!

Water Pipe Flash Game – AS3

Goal:
Connect the pump to the drain with the longest possible circuit by dropping pipe sections onto the grid before the time is up and water starts flowing.
If you successfully complete a circuit from pump to drain you score one point for every pipe section the water flows though between the pump and the drain.

There are three types of pipe section:
1) Straight
2) Bend
3) Cross-Over

Water flows through the Straight and Bend sections as you would expect, but the Cross-Over section has four openings. It is effectively two straight pipe sections crossing each other at right angles, so water only flows through it in a straight line. A Cross-Over section can be used in place of a straight section (water does not spill out of the open sides) or it can be used to create loops (see the sample layout on the opening screen)

Controls:
The “Current” section appears in the circle under the “Stack” of sections. The current section also appears at the mouse pointer when the mouse hovers over the grid.

Rotate Current Section (before dropping it on grid) : Left Click on circle or press SpaceBar

Place Current Section on open grid cell (or replace section already in circuit) : Left Click on open cell or circuit section.

Discard Current Section : Press Enter or Drop section on Trash Basket icon

When a section is placed on the grid or discarded the section at the bottom of the Stack moves down into the circle and becomes the new Current Section.

When the pump and drain are connected by a valid circuit the pump starts automatically and the water flows.

If a level times-out before the pump and drain are connected the pump starts and water flows slowly through any pipe sections that are connected to the pump. You can keep adding sections until either the circuit connects pump and drain, or until the water reaches a pipe section that is open to the grid or blocked.

When a level is successfully completed one point is awarded for each pipe section the water flows through between the pump an drain. If the water flows through a “cross-over” section in both directions it scores two points.

The game has 8 levels. Higher levels allow less time to build your circuit.

Parameters that can be set (in the code):
- You can set the game board dimensions (number of rows and columns of the game board)
- You can make as many level as you want thanks to an xml
- For each level you can set the time for the countdown (how many time you have until the water tap opens)
- For each level you can set two kind of speed that the system uses for the water flow.
- the number of “stack” that are used to preview the pipe items.

An HTML file is included to help how the SWF file can be embedded into it.
AS3 only. Opens with Flash CS4 and above only.
As far as you have AS3 knowledge the game can be modified, but some parameter can be modified easily from the code that are collected into one place.

The code is well commented and instructions are included.

In settings.xml you can set the number of levels and how much time you have on each level until the tap opens automatically. And you can set the speed of the flowing water as well.

This is my first game (and not the last one) on AD so comments are specially appreciated.
