This is a as3 tooltip component.
You can use it in flash cs4,flash cs5 , flash builder and flex IDE .

How to use it?
It is very simple.
For example, your mc name is ‘mc’,and you want to show “hello”,then add following code:

import KiteTooltip;

var kt:KiteTooltip = new KiteTooltip(mc,”hello”);

That’s it^^.

Certainly,you can do more settings,there is a help file in the download zip file,and it will guide you.

You might have seen a lot of tooltip classes around the net, but this one is very special! it’s so OOP !! and you can initialize it only once in your project and use it from ANYWHERE inside the deepest layers or classes and it will always be shown on top of everything. it is accessible from everywhere. This is a Pure coding AS3 tooltip class. Everything will be created on runtime. you will have very detailed documentations and help notes and even sample files to see how you should work with this class. just to give you a brief:

1) Import the tooltip classes.
2) initialize the tooltip and add it to the stage like: this.stage.addChild(myTooltip);
3) show the tooltip whenever you need it from anywhere in your project by calling its name:

var theTooltip:* = this.stage.getChildByName("tooltipName");
theTooltip.showText("<font color="#000000" face="Arial">This is a tooltip!</font>");

It’s worthy to mention that the tooltip class is using our Bg class. you can read the Bg documentations and use its features in the tooltip class for free and enjoy it, but you won’t have support on Bg matters unless you purchase it.
