Path to the XML file is set externally , so it can be dynamically changed , depending on your HTML page.

This file can be controlled externally via JavaScript, some of available commands are (start, pause , resume , mute , next , previous , etc…)

1. Video is loaded on the first layer in the file , everything else goes above the video layer, so all your graphics will show above the video.
2. All elements on the stage are dynamically positioned on , and they reposition themselves every time the stage is resized.
3. Full screen button can be hidden via XML file
4. Video is always resized proportionally so it will never be distorted, and it will fill in the whole screen

Some of available options via XML

1. Choose between all youtube.com available quality options for every video. (normal, high, HD etc…)
2. mute video right on start
3. choose to have full screen functionality , or not.
4. show buffer indicator

This file is constructed so that you can build your web site ( template or portfolio) by building upon this file. This is a full screen video background , with video play list , it cycles through video backgrounds in sequence or in random mode. Everything is set through xml.

This AS3 YOUTUBE API fully XML driven background video player is capable of playing a series of youtube videos in rotation.

NOTE : VIDEO EXAMPLE WITH SOUND HERE

If only one video is selected, the application will loop this video seamlessly. You can preset the quality for each video with a simple option or let Youtube choose the
ideal quality for the users bandwidth automatically.
In addition you can choose to add a pattern on top of the video (dotted, horizontal or vertical lines, diagonal lines, overlay off).
A convenient mute button is also available which can be also be turned off.

No flash knowledge is needed to configure this application as all settings are handled via an XML config file you can edit with your text editor of choice.
